Thinking About Brow Lamination? Here’s Everything You Need to Know

What Is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a treatment that lifts, smooths, and reshapes your natural brow hairs into a fuller, fluffier, more defined shape. It creates a sleek, brushed-up look that lasts — no brow gel or makeup needed! Perfect for taming unruly hairs, filling in gaps, and giving your brows a clean, lifted finish.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

  • We’ll begin by cleansing and brushing your brows into your desired shape.

  • A lifting solution is applied to gently realign the direction of the hair.

  • Exclusively at Lady Lash Boutique, we apply a keratin treatment after the hair cuticle is open after step one to nourish and strengthen the hair.

  • This is followed by a neutralizing solution, and finally a hydrating treatment at the end.

  • If you're getting the hybrid tint add-on, we’ll apply it after the lamination for maximum color payoff and depth.

The full service takes about 45–60 minutes with tint.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

To get the best results:

  • Avoid retinoids, AHAs, exfoliants, or peels around your brows for 72 hours before your visit.

  • Don’t tweeze or wax before — we’ll shape as needed during your appointment.

  • Come with clean skin and no makeup or SPF on the brow area.

  • Book a patch test at least 24 hours before your first lamination or tinting if you’ve never had it done before.

Who’s a Good Candidate?

Brow lamination (with or without tint) is great for:

  • People with thin, sparse, or uneven brows

  • Brows that grow in different directions or downward

  • Clients wanting a fuller, more styled look without makeup

  • Anyone looking for low-maintenance, defined brows

Who Shouldn’t Get Brow Lamination

You may want to skip lamination or consult first if:

  • You have very sensitive or reactive skin

  • You have eczema, psoriasis, or broken skin around the brows

  • You’re using strong active skincare or Accutane

  • You’ve recently had chemical peels, microneedling, or sunburn in the area

Aftercare: What to Avoid (First 24–48 Hours)

  • Keep your brows dry (no steam, saunas, or sweating)

  • Avoid touching, rubbing, or brushing

  • No makeup or skincare directly on the brows

  • Skip exfoliants or actives around the area

Ongoing Aftercare

  • After 48 hours, you can gently brush your brows into place with a spoolie.

  • Apply a nourishing oil or brow serum daily to keep your brows healthy and hydrated.

  • With proper care, your laminated brows can last up to 6 weeks, and tint can last up to 6 weeks on the hair (less on the skin, depending on skin type and routine).

Add-On: Hybrid Tinting

Want even more definition? Add a hybrid brow tint to your lamination service. Hybrid tint combines the benefits of traditional tint and henna, staining both the skin and hair for a bolder, longer-lasting look — usually lasting 7–10 days on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the hairs. It’s the perfect combo for clients who want their brows to pop without daily filling in.

Patch testing is recommended at least 24 hours prior to your first tinting session.
